Golden and dark raisins are processed at our plant. Dark raisin processing begins by separating stems and capstems pedicels.

A grading process segments various fruit-sizes into uniform batches. Afterward, washing, quiality separation and adding humidity levels per customer requirements, follow. Soon after, raisins are selected manually and by laser, oiles, packed and finally scanned by a metal detector.

Golden raisins are produced from the finest grapes, mainly in view of size and color. To achieve an adequate color, golden raisins are exposed to a dose of sulphur dioxide (SO2) and later tunnel-dried; further processing is similar to that of dark raisins. Harvesting in Northern Chile occurs in November ending by April in the Southern area.
